Space monitoring
Satellite observations GRM collects itself: NASA FIRMS thermal anomalies in key regions, with their source times.
Surface thermal anomalies
Heat sources detected by satellite: wildfires, crop burning, industrial flares or conflict-related fires. A detection is not evidence of a strike or explosion.

7-day detections (by observation date)
Dot size and colour follow fire radiative power (FRP); hollow circles recur at the same location.
Data: NASA FIRMS (VIIRS) · one region is checked every 30 minutes in turn, so each refreshes about every 3 hours. Satellites pass a few times a day and NASA publishes with a lag of several hours, so “24h” ends at the region’s newest detection and the 7-day trend counts complete observation dates.
